About the Role

As a Construction Safety and Compliance Manager at Unilever, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our employees, contractors, and the environment on construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to manage safety, health, and environmental improvement activities to achieve excellence at project site level.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain the Project Specific Safety Plan to ensure compliance with Unilever and local safety requirements.
  • Deploy the global/cluster SHE strategy, policy, and standards in the site to achieve sustainable results.
  • Manage teams responsible for delivering safety, occupational health, and environment results.
  • Drive safety and environment risk assessment and develop/implement appropriate controls.
  • Influence senior management and drive safety and environmental leadership through PSSP Governance.
  • Monitor site legal compliance and ensure the site meets all local/national regulatory requirements and Unilever standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in safety & occupational health management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Safety, Health, and Environmental field applied to construction projects.
  • English level: intermediate at least, capable of sustaining business conversations.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
