About the Role

As a Senior Manager of Business Intelligence and Analytics, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive business intelligence and analytics strategy that aligns with the organization's overarching goals. You will lead our engineering team and oversee data-driven initiatives, playing a key role in advancing our technical capabilities and using data analytics to inform business strategies.

This role involves providing strategic leadership and direction to the business intelligence and engineering team, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. You will oversee the development and maintenance of data warehousing, ensuring the accuracy, availability, and security of data, and will be a champion for data governance and quality across the organization.

You will lead the design and development of analytical models and dashboards to support various business functions and ensure the delivery of accurate and timely reports to stakeholders. This role is crucial in working closely with executive leadership, providing insights, and making recommendations that enable informed decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the adoption of data-driven approaches and methodologies across different departments.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with business intelligence activities and report on the performance of business intelligence solutions regularly.
  • Manage resource allocation, project timelines, and deliverables, and evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and partners.
  • Regularly benchmark the organization's business intelligence practices against industry best practices and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Conduct Return on Investment (ROI) analyses to measure the impact of business intelligence initiatives and projects.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of technical systems and infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain data analytics strategies and solutions to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize data analytics projects.
  • Mentor and guide team members in engineering and analytics best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and technical innovation.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices in engineering and data analytics.
  • Establish and manage project timelines and budgets.
  • Provide strategic guidance on technology and data initiatives.
Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with a Master's degree being preferred.

+10 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field is required.

Experience in a leadership role.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, Python, or data visualization tools.
