Program Director

Eaton's VEH NAT North America Truck division is currently seeking a Program Director to lead the successful execution and implementation of the STP and NPD Program(s) and projects. This role involves managing customer programs, contracts, and business relationships to drive customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and life of the program financial performance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
A. Manage the Profit and Loss of the STP and NPD Program(s) and projects, ensuring successful execution within technical, schedule, cost, and quality commitments.
B. Lead the Program execution and leadership, seeking team input to promote rapid resolution to issues. Coach and provide feedback/rewards on performance indicators.
C. Establish objectives and goals, providing direction to the program and project teams in areas of customer concerns, potential changes in scope, and risk assessment. Facilitate the implementation of program management processes in assigned areas.
D. Manage effective customer communications, improving organization responsiveness to customer requirements. Manage communication, customer expectations, and contractual commitments.
E. Ensure standard program management processes are utilized, providing adequate support to the program and project teams by coordinating PM reviews, preparing and publishing PM metrics and reports.
F. Maintain metrics for program performance, focusing on the Focus 5, PRO PM, quality, and technical performance through all PROLaunch phases.
G. Coordinate all risks and requirements of the program into a complete integrated entity, planning, controlling, and integrating all projects into the programs, and measuring all elements to ensure requirements and goals are successfully achieved.
H. Manage customer contract, pricing, terms, and conditions, and contractual flow-down through the organization. Establish and negotiate pricing strategies by system and/or product, market, and by customer. Develop contract negotiation strategies, ensuring effective change management processes are utilized.
I. Provide periodic program updates (Program Status Report - Green/Yellow/Red) of current situation relating to contractual milestones and problem/high-risk areas. Provide updates to business units, as well as divisional and group levels.
J. Provide overall Program interface with the customer.
K. Develop and implement programs to utilize the elements of EBS to achieve strategic goals of the plant, and profit plan objectives of the plant.
L. Provide leadership that enables subordinate personnel to develop and deploy the EBS toolbox: Eaton Lean System, Six Sigma, and PROLaunch.
N. Promote the company's mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton's ethics and values, as well as quality policies.
O. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels.
**Requirements:**
Industrial Engineering degree or related fields required. 2-3 years experience in a management position within a manufacturing environment (preferably automotive).
English language capability, speaking, reading, and writing required. Lead and coordinate all new projects and launches activities, following PROLaunch methodology. Broad financial knowledge for asset management, budgeting, and profit plan obtainment. Knowledge of behavioral science, including the ability to motivate, counsel, and constructively deal with people at all levels. Strong leadership skills, capable of leading their organization on a continuous journey of sustained improvement.
