About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Design and Release Engineer to join our team at SEGULA Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing components for our vehicle families.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, specify, and validate body in white components to meet our high-quality standards.
  2. Analyze and resolve component failures and durability issues to ensure optimal performance.
  3. Collaborate with suppliers to develop parts according to process standards, driving efficiency in production processes.
  4. Utilize design software (e.g., NX, CATIA, SolidWorks) to create and evaluate models, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  5. Coordinate DFMEAs and PFMEAs with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability, meeting regulatory requirements.
  6. Support assembly plants with assembly and operation tests, ensuring seamless integration.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Mechanical, or Aeronautical Engineering.
  2. 1 year of experience in the automotive industry (OEM or Tier 1).
  3. Advanced knowledge of plastics engineering and manufacturing processes.
  4. Proficiency in product design software like NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks.
  5. Familiarity with quality tools and GD&T.
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  7. Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  8. Fluent in English for technical discussions.
