We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. in Mexico City, Mexico.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
- Determine the presentation of food and create decorative food displays to enhance the dining experience.
- Monitor food quantities, ensure proper portioning, and maintain high standards of food quality.
- Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items to ensure seamless service.
- Prepare special meals or substitute items as needed, and assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks.
- Provide cooks with necessary items and maintain kitchen logs for food safety programs and food products.
- Ensure the quality of food items and notify management if a product does not meet specifications.
- 4-6 years of related work experience, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coach employees.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
