Key Responsibilities:- Support the delivery of the construction project within the program's timelines and clear performance indicators.
- Contribute to high levels of compliance at project sites by providing clarification on intent and practical examples of implementation.
- Enhance employee awareness and knowledge of safety for life and client safety programs.
- Audit project sites to create awareness and sensitivity among project personnel about unsafe conditions and practices or behaviors.
- Support the use of near-miss reports by contractors. Assist with the work permit process and ensure compliance with procedures.
- Support the investigation of incidents and accidents by collecting evidence of facts, photographs, witness statements, and other useful information for the Root Cause Analysis process.
- Support the development and delivery of SH&E training and orientation for projects managed by AECOM employees.
- Help monitor contractor training programs to verify compliance with regulatory and AECOM and client requirements.
- Assist the SH&E Manager, Project Managers, and Site Superintendents in administering the Site-Specific SH&E Plan and developing Site-Specific Risk Assessments.
- Minimum 2 years of experience or equivalent demonstrated experience and/or education.
- Expert knowledge of construction methods and practices.
- Knowledge of the construction market.
- Experience in SH&E for construction projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or similar qualifications.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (desired).
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
