Job Summary

Celestica is seeking a highly skilled Materials Program Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain Management department, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the procurement and logistics activities for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface with cross-functional teams, including Business Office, Production, Procurement, and Planning, to develop and implement production and shipment plans that align with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in their design and implementation.
  • Collaborate with planning teams to review and analyze customer requirements and changes, and assess costs and feasibility.
  • Support new product introductions and coordinate with Business Office to negotiate with customers on materials management-related activities.
  • Provide customers with technology information, supplier capabilities, and market trends to support SCM activities.
  • Review and assess SCM's ability to meet customer requirements and negotiate terms and conditions.
  • Partner with Business Office to identify and implement SCM process improvements.
  • Coordinate Bill of Material analysis and ensure supply continuity.
  • Manage customer relationships and obtain and disseminate SCM feedback to the team.
Requirements
  • Three to six years of relevant experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
