About the Role

  • Support the facultative reinsurance process in accordance with the Cash Collection Protocol.
  • Manage portfolios, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Gather any missing information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Clarify discrepancies with relevant individuals, reconcile figures with underwriters and clients.
  • Ensure that all documents and information are complete.
  • Execute claims payments and refunds to clients.
  • Verify that the information contained in documents aligns with contract provisions.
  • Verify and analyze technical accounting figures and ensure proper booking.
  • Confirm outstanding balances for claims and payment processing.
  • Send corresponding debit or credit notes to external clients.
  • Manage accounts receivable.
  • Stay up-to-date with different legislations and accounting information from various market regions.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Intermediate English language proficiency, including reading, writing, and verbal communication.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, ownership, and commitment to excellence.
  • Consistently improve business results and client satisfaction.
  • Ability to access, organize, understand, identify issues, and draw conclusions from large volumes of information/data to determine necessary actions while striving to improve data quality.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and adherence to specific processes, key controls, and guidelines applicable to the role.
  • Demonstrate ability to apply efficient case handling processes and Swiss Re guidelines.
  • Ability to analyze and book client submissions after verifying accuracy against contractual agreements.
  • Ability to regularly interact with clients to ensure timely collection of premium and other information exchanges regarding the full breadth of the account.
  • Ability to maintain high performance standards consistent with guidelines, key controls, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ability to manage systems, office programs, database queries, Excel macros, and pivot tables.
