Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operation of our facilities, including cleaning, maintenance, and other contractors.
  • Prepare, review, and give initial approval of budgets, financial reports, contracts, expenditures, and purchase orders related to the sites.
  • Coordinate the preparation and publication of the annual budget and quarterly reforecast.
  • Collect, analyze, and report statistical data to provide accurate and current assessment of facility management objectives.
  • Direct teams of staff, including cleaning, maintenance, and other contractors.
  • Manage all contracts to ensure they are reviewed on a regular basis and are bid out as required; verify that invoices match contract pricing.
  • Ensure that buildings meet health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with local legislation.
  • Identify areas that can make the building more efficient and cost-effective.
  • Plan and oversee building projects, renovations, or refurbishments.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or bachelor's degree in architecture, facilities management, or related field.
  • At least 6-10 years of experience working in a related position.
  • Fluent English skills to work in a diversifying and international culture.
  • Strong knowledge in HSE and government paperwork/formalities.
  • Strong technical knowledge in facilities-related equipment/infrastructure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence others.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Accustomed to working in a team and collaborating with all levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and manage expectations.
  • Ability to effectively be flexible in approach and respond well to pressure.
