We are seeking a highly skilled CO2E Assessment Engineer to join our team at Harman International. As a key member of our Cost and Sustainability Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing CO2e assessment methods and tools to support our sustainability objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain CO2e assessment models and tools to support design-to-cost and CO2e reduction targets for components, modules, and assemblies.
- Lead cost engineering team upskilling on sustainability-specific calculations and reporting.
- Collaborate with suppliers to identify best cost solutions and emerging technologies that provide cost and CO2e improvements.
- Represent sustainability in overarching initiatives to integrate sustainability in design and sourcing processes.
- Support procurement teams during negotiating events with target CO2e targets.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in manufacturing and assembly of electronic and electrical systems, or sustainability/cost engineering of electronic systems.
