About the Role

The Lead Actuarial Analyst for Pricing and Modeling will be responsible for developing and implementing complex financial models to drive profitable results and sustain long-term strategic direction. This role reports directly to the Chief Actuary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pricing Model Development: Enhance, review, and monitor pricing models used across the organization to ensure consistency and accuracy across all lines of business.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with underwriting teams on deals and participate in meetings with brokers and clients to drive pricing decisions.
  • Risk Pricing and Analysis: Develop and implement advanced risk pricing tools and legal/macro trend analyses to inform pricing decisions.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Manage and analyze data to track key actuarial metrics across all lines of business, including rate change, loss trends, and profitability.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and provide data and information to third-party actuaries and auditors as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced Degree in Actuarial Science or related field
  • Professional certifications (e.g., FSA, FCAS)
  • Proven experience in pricing and modeling, with a strong background in finance and statistics
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
