Job Description

As a Project Coordinator and Architectural Specialist at Gensler, you will play a vital role in coordinating architectural projects from concept to completion. Your primary responsibilities will include managing project schedules, budgets, and communication with clients, consultants, and contractors. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless project execution, maintaining high-quality standards, and resolving complex technical and design issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all phases of architectural projects, including documentation, construction administration, and site inspections.
  • Manage project scheduling, budgeting, and team coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and resolve design challenges.
  • Prepare and present project reports, updates, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
  • Licensed or registered architect with 8+ years of project experience in an architectural practice.
  • Proficiency in REVIT, SketchUp, and construction administration software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
