Inventory Control Tower Senior Manager

About the Role:
The Inventory Control Tower Senior Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management, visibility, and optimization of inventory across our global supply chain. By utilizing advanced analytics, tracking systems, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, the manager will enable seamless inventory management and ensure that product availability meets demand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Monitoring & Analysis: Regularly analyze inventory levels, turnover rates, and stock movement across all locations to identify trends, potential shortages, or excesses.
- Inventory Optimization: Utilize advanced forecasting tools and methods to predict future inventory needs and optimize inventory levels, minimizing holding costs while ensuring product availability.
- Data Management: Maintain and update inventory records, ensuring data accuracy in all inventory management systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with SIOP, Finance, Supply Chain, BU leadership, Sales, Operations, and Warehouse teams to align on inventory needs and priorities.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance inventory processes and tools to ensure they are efficient, up-to-date, and meet business needs.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on inventory metrics, including stock levels, turnover rates, potential stockouts, and other KPIs.
- Issue Resolution: Act as a point of contact for any inventory-related issues and drive resolution in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the inventory process and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Training: Train and guide other team members on inventory best practices and new tools or processes as needed.
Requirements:
- Adequate English level to handle fluent and assertive conversations (written and spoken).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Availability to work on-site at Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon (Plant B).
- 10+ yrs experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related area OR advanced degree & 7+ yrs experience.
- Proficient MS Office suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- 5% travel availability.
