About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Costing Engineer E/E to join our team at A2Mac1. As a key member of our international team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers and driving business growth through expert costing analysis and value chain optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Costing Assignments and Studies: Conduct cost analysis, value analysis, comparative cost analysis, cost-based design, and economic modeling of manufacturing processes to support our customers' business needs.
  • Value Chain Expertise: Demonstrate real expertise in the value chain, identifying and understanding the cost structures of various automotive components purchased from external suppliers.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify and recommend ways to optimize the cost of systems, conduct cost/performance benchmarking and value analysis studies, and identify efficiency improvement opportunities for our customers.
  • Purchasing Support: Provide fact-based costing data to support our customers' purchasing departments in their negotiations, conduct cost benchmarking activities between suppliers/programs, and potentially train and coach our customers' suppliers to improve their business performance.
  • Project Management: Support domain leaders in assessing workload and timelines, commit to project deliverables, and alert project management about any risks or quality concerns.
  • Knowledge Improvement: Write and update technical content and guidelines, improve internal tools and models, ensure technical watch on your specific competency area, and share knowledge with teammates.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate from an engineering school or equivalent engineering master's degree in electronics.
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in a major engineering company as an electrical cost engineer or 5+ years of experience as a systems/technical design/manufacturing engineer.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing and assembly processes.
