Responsibilities

The Role

This position requires a Medium level of Technical Expertise. You will enhance and utilize existing technologies with a moderate level of impact and risk for the organization. Oversee daily Product Management Planning activities in collaboration with I&O Technical Leads across Global Workplace Services, Network Services, Compute Services, and Cloud Services. The role will serve as a central hub for Technical Towers capabilities, IT cost structures, and Sector Demand, facilitating the planning of services related to S&T Infrastructure. A deep understanding of cost drivers, including usage, contracts, and consumption patterns, is essential for success. Assist in the ongoing PepsiCo Productivity and Waste Reduction initiatives. Ensure data quality and integrity within TBM (Apptio) and other key systems (Service Now, Calero, etc.). Collaborate with Vendor Management, Global Procurement, and S&T Finance to ensure cost-effective IT Services.

Your Contribution

As an IT Products & Cost Management Analyst, your duties will include:

Partnering with the Sr. Manager of I&O Product Management to enforce rigorous standards in the I&O Product & Cost Management domain. Defining and implementing processes and procedures for I&O Product Management that enhance transparency and provide insights into IT service usage. Offering technological, functional, contractual, and financial insights regarding IT products to PepsiCo stakeholders to aid in decision-making. Identifying and optimizing IT Services and Products through waste reduction strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity. Collaborating with Technical Towers (Global Workplace Services, Network Services, Compute Services, and Cloud Services) to ensure cost transparency and alignment with service areas and product SKUs. Working with Global Procurement, Technical Subject Matter Experts, and IT Finance to align on cost structures and Taxonomy for IT services. Leading the IT roadmap to establish acceptable standards provided by PepsiCo S&T Infrastructure that align with business and financial objectives. Supporting demand planning and activities in partnership with Technical Towers and Sector Delivery Leads to facilitate business operations. Providing insights for the TBM Teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of product alignment through Apptio. Capturing and reporting on consumption patterns to support budget and AOP cycles. Collaborating on financial forecasting, operational budgets, and productivity goals. Staying informed about new and emerging technologies and processes related to enterprise-level IT products and services. Influencing technical, financial, and business decisions based on data and transparency of consumption patterns. Creating opportunities for cross-team collaboration and removing barriers to effective teamwork and service delivery. Ensuring data quality in record systems to enhance transparency and accessibility, fostering trust in S&T Infrastructure services. Generating relevant communications and educational updates regarding IT Products and Services. Acting as the primary liaison between S&T Infrastructure and Field and Sector Support Teams to clarify IT product usage and cost structures. Collaborating with Finance to ensure consistent messaging regarding cost drivers and opportunities for cost reduction. Qualifications

Who Are We Seeking?

Required Experience:

2 to 5 years of experience in IT expense management and cost control. 2 to 5 years of experience utilizing Apptio or other TBM methodologies at scale. Experience working within large organizations, preferably with global exposure. Strong communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence stakeholders at all levels. Exceptional attention to detail and capability to manage extensive data sets. Financial acumen or prior financial experience is advantageous. Proficiency in data analytics, Excel, or PowerBI is essential.

Required Competencies:

Comprehensive understanding of technical setups in Telecom (Compute, Cloud, Network, GWS, Data, Voice, mobility) - Technical aptitude. Familiarity with large global IT footprints and expense structures, demonstrating high financial competence. Ability to report on large data sets to operational, IT Leadership, and IT Finance to enhance engagement – analytical mindset. Capability to explain complex cost structures and IT service compositions.
