Job Summary

Integer is seeking a highly skilled Commodities Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to drive cost reduction initiatives and improve supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the commodity
  • Analyze data and develop tools to manage the commodity
  • Coordinate strategic sourcing activities for assigned categories
  • Identify and develop comprehensive supplier knowledge and database
  • Guide internal stakeholders through a systematic commodity approach to material and supplier selection and management
  • Promote continuous value improvement for all aspects of quality, service, and cost with assigned supply base

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in engineering, supply chain management, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of sourcing/supply chain management experience in a multi-location manufacturing-based business
  • At least 2 years of commodity management experience, preferably in electronics and/or metals
  • Strong negotiation and project management skills
  • Demonstrated track record of implementing commodity strategies resulting in significant financial and operational benefits
