Job Description

Job Title: Strategic Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Assistant to join our team at Robert Bosch Group. As a Strategic Assistant, you will provide critical support to our department head, driving business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to the department head, providing insightful recommendations to drive business objectives.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage special projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and successful execution.
  • Liaison and Communication: Act as a liaison between the department head and other teams, facilitating communication and collaboration.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze and report on key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Executive Support: Coordinate and prepare materials for executive meetings, including agendas, presentations, and follow-up actions.
  • Operational Efficiency: Drive organizational and operational efficiency, implementing best practices and process improvements.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Calendar Management: Act as the primary point of contact for the department head, managing their calendar, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Office Operations: Manage and coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Travel Coordination: Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries (incl. T&E reimbursement process).
  • New Hire Onboarding: Assist with the onboarding process for new employees.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a strategic support role, Chief of Staff, executive assistant, or similar role supporting senior leadership.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical Mindset: Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with grace and composure.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proactivity: Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
