Responsibilities

The Release Management Analyst role is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of software and hardware releases. The primary objective is to assist in delivering high-quality releases within scheduled timelines, facilitating the implementation of software updates, new features, and technical activities.

Your Impact

As the North America Release Management Analyst, your scope will consist of:

  • Assisting in the planning and scheduling of software and hardware releases, ensuring that release timelines and dependencies are identified and communicated effectively.
  • Coordinating with development, operations, and technical teams to gather release requirements and ensure their alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Executing release activities, including package creation, deployment, and verification, adhering to established release management processes and best practices.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date release documentation, including release plans, procedures, and post-release reports, to ensure traceability and compliance with SoX controls.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks associated with releases, proactively addressing potential issues that may impact the release schedule or quality.
  • Monitoring release progress and providing regular updates to stakeholders, highlighting any deviations or areas requiring attention.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance release processes, tools, and methodologies, aiming for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Supporting the resolution of release-related incidents and problems, participating in post-release activities such as incident analysis, root cause identification, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Fostering effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams involved in the release process, promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.
