We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at C3 AI in a challenging role that requires expertise in system administration, infrastructure management, and problem-solving.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Maximize system uptime and availability, ensuring functional and performance Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Establish end-to-end monitoring and alerting on all critical aspects to ensure prompt issue detection and resolution.
• Develop and implement automation scripts to prevent problem recurrence and streamline system updates and upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and fault-tolerant infrastructure.
• Set up and configure critical infrastructure, tools, and frameworks to optimize the deployment cycle.
• Work closely with Services and Engineering teams to ensure seamless system operation and continuous improvement.
**Requirements:**
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in deploying, managing, and operating scalable and fault-tolerant Linux/Kubernetes/JVM-based infrastructure in AWS, GCP, and other public clouds.
• Expertise in Linux Operating Systems, Networking, and Database concepts.
• Experience with Cassandra (or another NoSQL alternative) and cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, and GCP.
• Familiarity with configuration management systems such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Experience in Ruby or Python for automating and monitoring systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Experience supporting as a DevOps or sys admin for commercial SaaS solutions.
