Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter guest rooms following established procedures to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Complete checklists to report cleanliness and condition of each assigned area.
  • Identify room assignments and type of cleaning required for each room.
  • Inspect guest rooms after being cleaned by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs.
  • Assist individuals with disabilities.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience.
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
