Traackr is seeking an Accountant II to support and execute core accounting functions in a growing SaaS environment. This role is responsible for key components of the month-end close, account reconciliations, expense reporting, and audit support, while working closely with Traackr's US-based headquarters. The Accountant II operates with increasing independence, strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of US GAAP, multi-entity, and multi-currency accounting. Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, and reclassifications, and support timely month-end and year-end close in a high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and maintain general ledger accuracy in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Support revenue recognition under ASC 606 for subscription, usage-based, and professional services contracts, including review of customer contracts for performance obligations, modifications, and variable consideration.
  • Assist with deferred revenue rollforwards, revenue analytics, and coordination with Billing and Sales Operations to ensure accurate invoicing and revenue schedules.
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated monthly financial statements and management reporting, including analysis of revenue and expense trends and investigation of variances versus budget and prior periods.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests related to revenue, deferred revenue, and contracts.
  • Support and maintain accounting systems and tools (e.g., Quickbooks, Concur, Salesforce, ) and participate in system implementations and automation initiatives.
  • Help design, document, and improve accounting policies, processes, and internal controls, ensuring compliance with SOX or other internal control frameworks, as applicable
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, with significant experience in SaaS.
  • Experience working with a US-headquartered company and exposure to US GAAP.
  • Hands-on experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
  • Experience using Quickbooks Online.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • CPA preferred or CPA in progressFluent English (written and spoken) required.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;

This position is 100% remote, with the understanding that occasional in-person attendance may be required for trainings, meetings, and team gatherings, as determined by your manager.
