Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to maintain accurate financial records while providing essential administrative support. Your expertise in accounting software and financial concepts will help drive our operations forward, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

What you'll do

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy
  • Process journal entries, debits & credits, and account reconciliations with precision
  • Assist in payroll processing and maintain accurate payroll records
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure timely payment of invoices
  • Support budgeting processes by analyzing financial data and providing insights
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, Sage, Xero, or similar tools to streamline operations
  • Utilize inventory software such as inflow inventory.

Basic qualifications

  • Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping principles and financial report writing
  • Strong understanding of corporate accounting, non-profit accounting, governmental accounting, and public accounting practices

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with technical accounting concepts and account analysis
  • Familiarity with 10 key typing for efficient data entry
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements

Job Types: Temporary, Contract

Pay: From $147.37 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week

Work Location: Remote
