The position and your daily adventures
The Sales Lead at Klar is responsible for building, scaling, and leading the team that brings new high-value clients into our ecosystem. You will oversee the full B2B sales motion—from outbound prospecting to pipeline management to closing—guiding both Sales Development Representatives and Account Executives toward predictable, repeatable revenue.
Your mission is to create a high-performance sales engine that accelerates adoption of Klar's financial solutions. You'll work closely with Revenue, Marketing, Partnerships, Brokers, and RevOps to ensure we qualify clients efficiently, and close opportunities with speed and consistency.
This is a full-time position based in our Mexico City office with a hybrid model. We look forward to seeing you in the office 3–4 times per week.
What you can expect:
Team Leadership & Coaching: Lead and mentor a growing team of SDRs and AEs, ensuring consistent performance, continuous learning, and strong morale. Establish a high-accountability, high-support culture focused on pipeline quality, speed to lead, and strong close rates. Provide ongoing coaching through call reviews, shadowing sessions, deal strategy, and weekly 1:1s.
Sales strategy and execution:
Own the full B2B sales pipeline from lead generation qualification demo proposal closing. Oversee outbound cadences, messaging, and prioritization for SDRs. Partner with Marketing and Acquisition to ensure alignment on lead flow and ideal customer profile (ICP).- Revenue delivery: Own monthly activation targets. Ensure SDRs and AEs maintain healthy pipelines, hit activity KPIs, and advance deals efficiently. Track performance rigorously and implement action plans to correct underperformance.
- Process, enablement and playbook: Create and continually optimize sales playbooks, qualification criteria, scripts, talk tracks, and objection handling guides. Work closely with RevOps to refine HubSpot pipelines, improve lead routing, and ensure clean handoffs to underwriting, compliance and support. Introduce efficiency improvements (SLA definitions, follow-up standards, pipeline hygiene, documentation).
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or financial services.
- 2+ years managing SDRs and/or AEs, ideally in a high-growth environment.
- Strong understanding of financial products and services (e.g., payments, lending, , KYC).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
