About The Sales Manager Position
Responsible for supporting sales representatives and key account colleagues in the management of key client relationships and in the negotiation of contracts with key customers.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Be
- Provide leadership to the Business Management Team. Coordinate all Business Management activities to meet company goals.
- Actively and closely work together with General Manager and Plant Management team to meet budgeted commercial roadmap.
- In close cooperation with Sales Management support on the response to new business acquisition RFQ's and program related RFQ packages.
- Manage the financial deliverables of all new, facelift and change programs to budgeted objectives.
- Together with engineering department ensure department VA/VE targets are met and drive plant/customer VA/VE activities to targets agreed with GM and Engineering.
- Responsible for the total lifetime commercial management of such business and deliver accurate and complete information and analysis.
- Be an engaged business partner to our customers, focusing on business development, collaboration and planning for the future.
Qualifications
- University degree in Business and/or Economics, Program Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the automotive industry in business/sales management with substantially sized regional or global organization.
- Experience and specific knowledge on General Motors as customer
- Good working knowledge / understanding industry standards & related procedures.
- Good ability to structure and prioritize work tasks. Hands on committed personality with urge to improve processes. Good problem-solving skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
