Job Description

Key Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations:

  • Perform activities in accordance with the standard work defined for the position
  • Follow up on the production plan established by the Planning department
  • Participate in TIER 1, TIER 2, and TIER 3 meetings
  • Apply 5S practices in the work area and follow up on findings derived from audits
  • Execute and ensure that work instructions (sequence, content, timing, quality, and safety) are properly followed
  • Approve, in coordination with support areas (Engineering, Materials, HSE, Quality, Training), changes to work instructions within their respective areas
  • Ensure on-time completion of models that impact OTTR (on-time delivery to the customer)
  • Ensure all operators comply with internal disciplinary rules
  • Responsible for the management of assigned personnel (discipline, payroll pre-processing, attendance, training, performance evaluations, etc.)
  • Follow up on the completion of assigned metrics and production reports
  • Track production rejections and implement corrective actions in collaboration with support departments

Education, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Intermediate to Advanced English
  • Knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing tools
  • Experience in SMT processes (mandatory)
  • Strong communication skills at all organizational levels
  • Knowledge of problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Whys, DMAIC, etc.)
  • Experience with Oracle and Revolution systems (preferred)
