Import & Export Logistics Specialist (Mexico Route)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Port Arrival & Customs Coordination

Maintain close communication with the Mexico local planning team and the domestic vessel operations team to track vessel arrival schedules.

Share port arrival information with terminals and customs brokers in a timely manner; confirm operational arrangements to ensure smooth port handling and customs processes.

  1. Customs Documentation Management

Follow up with the domestic factory's commercial team to obtain customs documentation promptly after vessel departure.

Verify the accuracy of all documents before submitting them to the customs broker.

Update various tracking sheets regularly and archive/upload all documents to the system.

  1. Spare Parts & Yard Coordination

Communicate any changes in spare parts placement to the yard management team in a timely manner.

For surplus items (e.g., user manuals), confirm compliance solutions with the customs broker to ensure adherence to import regulations.

  1. Invoice Information Verification & Issue Resolution

Work closely with the finance invoicing team; identify and address issues that may affect invoicing, such as incorrect part numbers, colors, or VIN information.

Coordinate with the domestic factory's commercial team to verify details and correct import documents promptly.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or above in International Trade, Logistics Management, or related fields.

2 - 4 Years of experience in import/export operations or customs in the automotive industry

Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Intermediate english proficiency

Detail-oriented, responsible, and highly execution-driven.
