The Role

As a Trade Analyst, you will support Livingston's Global Trade Management (GTM) functions by performing a variety of trade-related activities aligned to client scopes of work. You will collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely delivery of trade services. This role may specialize in one or more functional areas, including classification, import/export operations, restricted party screening, special trade programs, reconciliation, post-entry, and vendor performance management.

What You'll Do

  • Utilize trade applications and software to analyze import and export data
  • Create and maintain transactional documentation and KPI reports
  • Perform HS and ECCN classification and determine Free Trade Agreement (FTA) qualification applicability
  • Monitor and adapt to changing priorities driven by clients, U.S. Customs, other regulatory bodies, and internal management
  • Research and resolve missing or incomplete documentation with suppliers, carriers, and clients
  • Respond to and address client inquiries and service requests in a timely manner
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including Livingston teams, clients, brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex trade-related issues with support from leadership
  • Contribute to process development, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

What You Bring

  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot, and escalate appropriately
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Strong desire to learn and be coached toward a Senior Trade Analyst role
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Positive, flexible, and adaptable attitude

Education

  • Required:
    High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent
