We are expanding our footprint in Puerto Vallarta and are seeking a polished and highly driven commercial professional to join our team.

The Role

This position blends high-touch sales with destination relationship management and thoughtful client onboarding into our creative and production process.

You will represent Del Cabo Events within Puerto Vallarta's most relevant commercial channels—hotels, DMCs, agencies and event decision-makers—identifying opportunities, shaping proposals, securing business and stewarding each project into planning with clarity and confidence.

You will help position Del Cabo Events as the preferred partner for luxury experiences throughout the Bay of Banderas.

What You'll Do

Client Sales & Relationship Development

• Engage inbound leads and proactively prospect commercial partners

• Build relationships with hotels, DMCs, agencies and event groups

• Prepare proposals, estimates and agreements aligned with Del Cabo standards

• Lead negotiations and secure bookings with high conversion

• Maintain CRM discipline—pipeline, follow-ups and forecast tracking

Coordination & Internal Alignment

• Conduct discovery calls to distill event vision and requirements

• Align client scope with internal teams—design, florals, rentals and production

• Facilitate seamless handoffs into planning and execution

• Participate in walk-throughs, site visits and select onsite activations

Brand Representation & Market Presence

• Represent Del Cabo Events professionally across hotels, venues, suppliers and industry spaces

• Uphold the tone, reputation and high-touch service philosophy of our brand

• Track market trends, seasonal demand and growth opportunities

What Sets You Apart

You bring commercial drive grounded in hospitality finesse—equal parts strategic, relational and experience-oriented.

We're looking for someone with:

3–5 years in event sales, MICE, hotel groups or luxury hospitality

Demonstrated strength in prospecting, negotiation and client closing

Advanced English & Spanish

Strong organization and execution discipline

Familiarity with Puerto Vallarta's hotel + event ecosystem

Ability to manage multiple active opportunities with poise

Flexibility for occasional evenings/weekends—events don't watch the clock

This role requires presence at hotels, venues and partner spaces across the Bay.
