1. Executive Summary
We are seeking a high-caliber
Business Development & Sales Manager
to spearhead our expansion in the Latin American poultry feed supplement and animal health market. You will be the primary driver of our go-to-market strategy, responsible for the full commercial lifecycle—from identifying untapped market potential to scaling high-value distributor partnerships. This role requires a unique blend of deep technical expertise in animal science and a relentless, result-driven commercial mindset.
2. Key Outcomes & Responsibilities
- Strategic Market Expansion:
Develop and execute region-specific go-to-market plans to maximize the footprint of company's products in Mexico/ Brazil. - Revenue Growth:
Consistently achieve and exceed annual sales targets through proactive territory management and new account acquisition. - Distributor Excellence:
Provide comprehensive technical and commercial support to distributors, ensuring they have the tools and training to hit aggressive growth milestones. - Stakeholder Influence:
Build and maintain high-level relationships with industry "influencers," including independent nutritionists, clinical consultants, and key technical accounts. - Technical Brand Positioning:
Manage all marketing, technical, and product-related activities in the assigned market, ensuring our phytogenic and herbal health solutions are positioned effectively. - Market Intelligence:
Conduct deep-dive market mapping and maintain updated customer databases to identify emerging trends and competitive threats. - Global Presence:
Coordinate and lead participation in international trade exhibitions, seminars, and conferences to showcase product efficacy.
3. Required Qualifications & "Must-Haves"
- Education:
A degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or a degree in Animal Nutrition/Poultry Science is required. An MBA in Business or Marketing is preferred. - Industry Experience:
10–12 years of proven success within the Animal Health, Poultry/Swine Feed, or Animal Nutrition industry. - Technical Expertise:
Specific "hands-on" experience in the poultry or swine segments, with deep knowledge of feed additives, phytogenic, and herbal based animal health products. - Languages:
Full professional fluency in
English and Portuguese (Brazil) /Spanish (Mexico)
is required.
- Techno-Commercial Skills:
Proven ability to navigate complex technical sales cycles while managing high-level negotiations. - Cross Cultural Skills:
Ability to work with cross cultural teams and working across international time zones.
