Role Description

We are seeking a Vice President of Compliance for our Tutitlan, MEX office. This full-time, on-site position will oversee the development and implementation of our compliance programs to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and industry standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing compliance strategies, conducting audits, providing regulatory guidance, fostering a compliance culture across the organization, and coordinating with various departments to monitor operational adherence to compliance procedures. The VP of Compliance will also manage risk assessments and lead reporting efforts to regulatory bodies as required.

Qualifications

  • Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of compliance regulations, cryptocurrency policies, and risk management practices.
  • Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills to guide compliance teams and excellent communication abilities to collaborate across departments.
  • Analytical and Organizational Skills: Proven ability to perform thorough risk assessments, data analysis, and regulatory reporting, with strong attention to detail.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in compliance or risk management are a plus.
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience in compliance roles within the cryptocurrency, fintech, or financial services industries is highly preferred.
