Chief Product Officer

Our client, a rapidly growing international FinTech, is transforming financial services in Mexico. We are seeking an experienced Chief Product Officer (CPO) Credit Cards to lead the development and execution of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital credit card offerings. In this key leadership role, you will collaborate with engineering, design, risk, compliance, and marketing teams to create innovative, customer-centric solutions that set us apart in the market.

We are seeking a results-oriented leader with a
strong background in digital financial products and a proven track record of driving success in competitive markets. The ideal candidate will have:

1. Proven experience as a CPO, VP of Product, or similar senior leadership role within fintech, banking, digital banking, or payments.
2. Deep expertise in credit cards, lending, and digital financial products.
3. Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to optimizing product performance and driving user growth.
4. Hands-on experience with digital onboarding, risk management, and customer lifecycle optimization.
5. A track record of launching and scaling successful financial products in competitive markets.
6. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to build, manage, and inspire high-performing teams.
7. Excellent communication skills in English, which will be assessed during the interview process.

As CPO, you will drive innovation and growth through a customer-first approach to digital credit card products. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Developing and executing a clear, compelling product vision and strategy for digital credit card offerings tailored for the Mexican market.
2. Driving product innovation by leveraging fintech trends, customer insights, and regulatory frameworks.
3. Managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, with continuous improvement based on performance metrics.
4. Leading cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless, digital-first customer experience.
5. Collaborating with risk, compliance, and legal teams to ensure regulatory alignment and responsible lending practices.
6. Using data-driven decision-making and A/B testing to optimize product performance and drive user growth.
7. Building, mentoring, and managing a high-performing product team while fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
8. Managing the lifecycle of three Agile teams and driving efficient delivery.
9. Staying ahead of market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies in credit cards and digital payments.
