What you'll be doing...
The RVP, Sales will be responsible for driving exceptional sales growth across our enterprise portfolio, with a focus on the telecommunications sector. This executive will serve as a leader of a dynamic sales organization, managing a group of Account Executives to accelerate complex, strategic transactions within telecom and adjacent industries.
Your mission will be to develop a Destination Team distinguished by its supportive and inclusive culture, operational excellence, teamwork, commitment to professional development, and consistent high performance.*

  • Develop and execute an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to generate strong annual growth in revenue and bookings, particularly within telecommunications markets
  • Set clear expectations and deliver accurate business forecasts with deep understanding of telecom industry cycles and buying patterns
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, establishing appropriate metrics for effective sales funnel management
  • Drive accountability across your team for quota attainment while consistently meeting and exceeding pipeline generation and sales goals
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key corporate teams including marketing, product development, strategic operations, product management, and talent acquisition
  • Implement and optimize our operating model, ensuring adherence to internal processes and driving adoption of our sales methodology and technology stack
  • Align and coordinate product, customer success, and services teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
  • Stay ahead of competitive landscape, market trends, and product developments, especially within the telecommunications ecosystem
  • Cultivate key customer relationships with telecom executives and develop innovative strategies for expanding our customer base
  • Anticipate market changes and define new processes and programs to increase overall productivity and results
  • Leverage deep telecommunications industry knowledge to identify emerging opportunities and navigate complex regulatory environments

*Who you are...*

  • 7+ years of progressive sales management experience and leadership, preferably with telecommunications industry exposure
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota and revenue targets, ideally within telecom or technology sectors
  • Deep understanding of telecommunications industry dynamics, including network infrastructure, digital transformation initiatives, and regulatory landscape
  • Proven ability to build satisfied, loyal, and referenceable customer relationships with telecom operators and service providers
  • Demonstrated success operating within highly matrixed organizations
  • Experience leading comprehensive pipeline generation strategy and execution in complex B2B environments
  • Strong operational and analytical capabilities with ability to interpret telecom market data and trends
  • Extensive sales experience and revenue achievement selling complex software solutions primarily at the C-level within telecommunications companies
  • Exceptional track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing sales teams
  • Established network within the telecommunications industry and understanding of key decision-makers and influencers
