The Process Quality Engineer must have the skill and capacity to review the requirements of internal and external clients, carry out the best quality practices in production processes, investigate and resolve product quality problems. evaluate the efficiency of quality controls and data analysis, execute and monitor the internal and external collective actions that are generated. Ensure the quality of the product upon delivery.

  1. Responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of the quality system in manufacturing processes as well as compliance with customer requirements, standards and regulations applicable to the processes under their responsibility.

  2. Ensures quality standards are met in order to meet customer requirements.

  3. Stop the operation if problems that affect the quality of the product are detected.

  4. Authorize manufacturing of product.

  5. Make decisions about acceptance criteria for a product or process

  6. Reports quality issues to immediate supervisor.

  7. Assists the production area on issues related to product quality, process compliance with applicable quality standards.

  8. Introduces the best quality practices in production processes

  9. Make periodic reports of quality results

  10. Applies internal and process audit to manufacturing processes

  11. Leads and monitors corrective and preventive actions, evaluates the efficiency of quality controls, participates in resolution of customer complaints, and performs other tasks assigned by the immediate boss.

  12. Coordinates final product inspectors and provides support in customer complaints and process validation.

Experiencia y requisitos

  1. Fluent english 80%, high level spoken and written

  2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Package

  3. Skills, self-motivated, able to work with multidisciplinary teams

  4. knowledge in ISO 9001, IATF

  5. Professional degree in the engineering area industrial, electronic or electromechanical or equivalent
