As Sales Director for Mexico, you will lead the commercial strategy for one of BIC's most critical and dynamic markets, delivering +100M EUR in annual revenue across Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, and evolving high-growth channels. You will drive sustainable growth, execute pricing and RTM strategies, elevate customer partnerships, and lead a high-impact sales organization through transformation, complexity, and continuous change. Your leadership will be essential to strengthen BIC's competitiveness, improve profitability, and accelerate long-term value creation.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the full commercial strategy for Mexico, defining growth drivers, pricing architecture, RTM models, and category expansion plans.
  • Strengthen senior-level relationships with key customers, influencing joint business planning, trade terms, and strategic negotiations.
  • Translate global/regional strategies into actionable execution plans that maximize volume, profitability, and market share.
  • Forecast, plan, and manage the country's sales budget, OPEX, customer P&L, and trade investment model, ensuring ROI discipline.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a multi-level sales organization (Sr. Manager, KAMs, KAEs, Field Force), building strong successors and a performance-driven culture.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Legal, and Trade Marketing to ensure seamless execution.
  • Implement data-driven decision-making, leveraging insights, BI tools, and financial indicators to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage risk, navigate uncertainty, and drive turnaround actions when necessary, ensuring the team operates with agility and resilience.

Projects You'll Work On:

  • Transformation of RTM and portfolio pricing strategies for key channels.
  • Optimization of trade spend and customer profitability through improved investment frameworks.
  • Development of high-impact commercial capabilities across the sales team (negotiation, analytics, customer planning).
  • Execution of strategic initiatives for Modern Channel, including Oxxo, 7-Eleven, Soriana, HEB, City Club, Walmart partner formats.
  • Digitalization and performance automation across sales processes, forecasting, and KPI tracking.

What We're Looking For In You

  • +10 years of senior commercial leadership in large, multi-channel consumer goods markets; proven turnaround and change-management experience.
  • Strong expertise in Modern Trade and pricing/RTM transformation.
  • High EQ with a hands-on leadership style; ability to energize teams, take tough decisions quickly, and stabilize environments through change.
  • Proven track record managing P&L, OPEX, customer investments, forecasting, and strategic budgeting.
  • Strong influencing skills at senior levels (retailers, distributors, internal stakeholders).
  • Experience managing large commercial teams and building successors.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to simplify complexity and align cross-functional groups around clear priorities.
  • Preferred: Master's degree, experience in global FMCG, advanced analytics exposure.
