We are searching for the best talent for Quality Systems Materials Technician II to be in Cd. Juarez, in plant Independencia.

JOB SUMMARY
To perform a variety of material control activities (receiving, storing, issuing and distributing non-routine materials or material returned from other facility) following established work instructions and quality procedures.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

• Verifies that documentation submitted with material is complete.

• Informs addressees of material receipt via e-mail.

• Enters and records material transactions and cost information in database.

• Applicable system to perform transactions to obtain costing information for parts on hold, to scrap material and to change material status.

• Releases material used for protocols or engineering tests manually or using applicable system.

• Verifies that information for rejected material is correctly entered in nonconforming system as material is segregated.

• Updates and distributes reports of material on hold as required.

• Controls non-conforming components returned from the production floor.

• Responsible for tagging material, verify material on hold status in applicable system, logging material in cage, and updating database.

• Inspects chemicals to be released to the floor and changes their status in applicable system as necessary.

• Follows all company safety policies and other safety precautions within the work area.

• Compliance with safety policies and procedures.

• Ensures compliance with Environmental Management System (EMS) responsibilities.

• Returns non-conforming material to supplier.

• Provide training of other associates, as needed.

• Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level

• Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.

• For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.

• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Performs other duties assigned as needed.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Education: High School/Secondary Education or Equivalent
• Job Experience: Generally requires (2-4) years related experience.
• Bilingual: English/ Spanish preferred.
• GMP/ ISO knowledge preferred.
• PC Literate.
• Knowledge of EES electronic systems preferred.
