The Role
The
Operations Manager –
will lead a large, multi-functional organization with full accountability for
Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Profitability
.
You will play a key role in:
- Driving
world-class operational excellence - Leading aggressive
new product introductions - Owning and improving
P&L performance - Building a strong
continuous improvement culture
This role is ideal for a high-potential leader with a
clear path to Plant Manager
.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a large-scale operations organization (500 → 2,000 employees)
- Own
Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Gross Margin
performance - Drive
Lean / Gemba / Tiered management
routines using KPIs - Ensure reliable, efficient manufacturing from raw material to shipment
- Manage budgets, capital expenditures, and operating expenses
- Partner closely with
Product Line, Sales, Supply Chain, and HR - Lead
New Product Introduction (NPI)
and growth initiatives - Improve OEE, uptime, yield, and overall operational performance
- Create an engaging, safe, and high-performance work environment
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years as
Operations Manager / Business Unit Manager / Sr. Production Manager - Proven success in
labor-intensive manufacturing environments - Experience in
cable, harness, or interconnect manufacturing
(strong plus - not mandatory) - Hands-on
Gemba leader
with Lean / TPS mindset - Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
- Experience with
NPI
, ERP/MRP systems (AX a plus) - Exposure to
budgeting and P&L management - Strong people leader with a track record of developing high-performing teams
- Bilingual Spanish / English (90%+)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
