Job Description
The Night Manager will support the daily operations of the front desk during the evening and night shift at a 4-star hotel in Key West. The Night Manager is responsible for ensuring the operation of the Security Department and Night Audit in an attentive, friendly, efficient and courteous manner, providing all guests with a safe and secure environment throughout their stay, and for protecting hotel guests, employees and the physical property of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Review daily security activity reports, conduct investigations, and ensure all incident reports are documented clearly and accurately.
- I
mplement and manage emergency procedures for fire, weather events, power outages, and evacuations while maintaining the Emergency Response Kit. - Conduct guest and employee escorts, bag and package inspections, and key audits to maintain safety and security standards.
- Audit and balance financial transactions for all F&B outlets and front desk operations, ensuring accuracy in revenue postings, room charges, and adjustments.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: A
4-year hospitality degree and at least 3 years of related experience in hospitality. - Advanced English is required.
- Proficiency in Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing software, with the ability to manage reports and operational data effectively.
- Flexibility to work long and overnight shifts as needed.
- Due to visa restrictions, at the moment we are only accepting candidates from Mexico and Canada.
The limitation to Mexican and Canadian nationals is a legal requirement tied to the specifics of the TN visa, not a preference of the employer.
