Sales Manager - Mexico

Are you interested in technology and sales in the Mexico region? We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to manage this area for our fast-growing global sales organization. Be the key to unlocking business opportunities in the convergent world of Open Platform IP Video Management Systems and join Milestone, a global market leader. The Sales Manager, Mexico, will report to the Director of Sales – LATAM.

The required location for this candidate is in Mexico City. Relocation assistance is not offered at this time. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office when not traveling. All resumes must be submitted in English, as that is our corporate language, and a high level of fluency is required for the position.

What You'll Do

  1. Own and meet annual sales targets within assigned regions and territories.
  2. Develop and execute a strategic plan to meet regional sales targets and expand our customer base.
  3. Build and maintain an effective field sales team.
  4. Analyze and report on industry trends and assess the competitive landscape.
  5. Manage sales and expense budgets, ensuring delivery on targets.

This role requires an authentic leader experienced in strategic selling through building higher-level relationships. The ideal candidate enjoys being in the field in front of the customer, values pipeline reviews and creating actionable plans, is customer-centric, and enjoys mentoring sales staff. You will advance a modern sales team, elevate sales excellence, and provide voice-of-the-customer insights that guide product development and go-to-market strategy.

  1. Interact with pre-sales engineering on pilot approvals and related issues.
  2. Follow up with post-sales on pending or strategic support issues.
  3. Assist with national tradeshows and company events as needed.
  4. Develop eco-partner relationships and manage solution selling and strategy coordination.
  5. All other duties as assigned periodically by the manager.

What You Have

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the VMS, physical security, or integration industries with experience in the LATAM market.
  2. Established professional relationships with integrators, consultants, A&Es, and manufacturer reps across LATAM.
  3. Deep knowledge of video surveillance trends, Milestone's platform (XProtect, Arcules, Briefcam), and our ecosystem of technical integration partners.
  4. Ability to manage competitive pressures from Genetec, Avigilon, Axis, Lenel, Hanwha, and others.
  5. Bachelor's degree in business or a related field required. MBA preferred in a related field
  6. Minimum 3 years field sales and/or sales management experience within technology.
  7. Minimum 5 years of personnel management experience including remote staff.
  8. Knowledge of CRM databases (preferably ).
  9. Fluent English and Spanish, both verbal and written. Portuguese is a plus.
