**Finance Assistant**

While our operations take place in California, USA, our office is located in Queretaro, Mexico. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team. This role will play a critical part in maintaining the financial health of our organization by focusing on pricing, accounts receivable, and auditing processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Pricing Analysis and Maintenance**:

- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to analyze and update pricing structures.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in pricing across customer agreements and systems.
- Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to recommend adjustments.
- **Accounts Receivable Management**:

- Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Generate and distribute accounts receivable reports to management.
- **Invoice and Payment Reconciliation**:

- Reconcile invoices with payments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in billing and payments.
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to address invoicing issues.
- **Auditing and Compliance**:

- Conduct regular audits to verify that prices charged align with client agreements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial processes.
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits as needed.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist in implementing new financial tools and systems.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
