Job Summary

Job summary:

- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _Process Engineer _located in _Guadalajara, North Campus_._
- Reporting to the Process Engineer Manager, the Process Engineer role involves_ _In charge for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization.._

What a typical day looks like:

- _ Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product._
- _ Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability._
- _ Have the capability to singly or with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process._
- _ High level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues._
- _ Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production._
- _ Hold up and oversee new process equipment production._
- _ Hold up the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs)._
- _ Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters._
- _ Develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies._
- _ Trouble shoot process related issues._
- _ Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements._
- _ Implement statistical process research on new and existing products._
- _ Implement safety, productivity and give in improvements._
- _ Improve manufacturing techniques and through put._
- _ Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities and gives in._
- _ Develop and maintain process documentation._
- _ Review processing methods._
- _ Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer._
- _ Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer._
- _ Provide equipment maintenance and repair hold up as required._
- _ Guide cost _improvement/reduction_ programs._
- _ Process flow diagram design RMAs experience defining correct process_

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- _ BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience._
- _ Advance English._
- _ Proficient in basic manufacturing processes and techniques involving _SMT & Assembly._
- _ Familiar with the basic technical management and performance indicators for tooling, fixtures, and equipment under various fixed assembly processes._
- _ Possess a basic understanding of testing methodologies that meet design specifications for various fixed assembly processes._
