The Demand Planner prepares business related analyses and research for Supply Chain, Materials Management, and/or Logistics. The individual prepares forecasts, analyzes trends related to Buying/Planning or MRO, Distribution or Warehouse, Inventory or Material Control, and uses the analyses to compile and prepare reports, graphs and charts to ensure efficiency
- Responsible for project management and administration, including determining the direction and implementation of the project. For assigned projects; prepare detail of work plan and schedule, complete detailed analysis and research, identify options, prepare reports for management and recommend action or change. -Assist in preparing supply chain, material management, and logistics research and analysis for use in the development of business strategies and tactics. -Serve as primary liaison to a business unit to ensure their supply chain, material management, and logistics needs are met. Act as a focal point for interpretation of related policies and procedures. -Interface with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor, and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met. -Implement lean concepts and continuous improvements regarding supply chain, material management, and logistics systems and processes.
**Requisitos**
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- 0-1 years SML or related experience.
- Excellent english communication hability (written and oral). Good analytical, mathematical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills and detail-oriented. Ability to interface with cross-functional groups to define and execute overall requirements.
- Familiarity in Forecast process. Ability to design, develop, and maintain tables, formulas, graphs, queries and macros.
- Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office and function specific software
