Cost Accountant

Through our broad portfolio of sensors, electrical protection components and sensor-rich solutions which create valuable business insights, we help our customers address increasingly complex engineering and operating performance requirements.We are looking for the best Cost Accountant to join our team at our Tijuana location.The Cost Accountant will be responsible for analyzing cost expenditures and purchases within the organization.The Cost Accountant will review existing purchases, record data, recommend new cost-efficient and financially feasible cost options.General Responsibilities
- Product cost
- PPV- Production orders variations
- Cyclic counting
- Develop and maintain cost accounting system, documentation, and records
- Analyzes changes in product design,raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs
- Review costs for all external inventory, labor, andmaterial purchases
- Performs month end close activities related to Cost Accounting
- Analyze and recommend costs and cost savings
- Collect and compile purchasing data for analysis
- Prepare and complete internal cost audits
- Review and document inventory and materialpurchases
- Present cost estimates and budgets for new purchases
- Accurate record and update existing and new purchased materials andgoods
- Compile documentation on standard costs and company production costs
- Forecasts and plans future purchasing costs according tofiscal needs
- Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions

**Experiência y requisitos**
- Experience / Qualifications - Product costing experience
- PPV experience
- Production orders variations experience
- Cyclic counting experience
- A university degree required and 4-6 yers of experience or equivalent relevant work experience. Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated abilityto handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planningand time management skills to achieve results
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
