What We’re Looking For

We are currently looking for a Key Account Sales Manager to join our Mexico team to help promote and sell company’s standard and customized automation systems and project solutions in automotive electronics sector, you will be responsible to support the business growth and customer satisfactory of Harmontronics Automation in the North American region for signed key accounts, you are committed to company's growth across North America region, developing new opportunities in target market sectors and meeting quarterly and annual bookings and margins target.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and present Harmontronics capabilities and solutions.
- Communicate with the customer to understand their needs, timelines and obtain required information to generate the proposal.
- Regularly communicate with sales and projects teams in China (need to be able to work night hours occasionally, between 20:00-23:00 EST) and Mexico clients on quotation status; and assess current or future client opportunities and priorities.
- Organize technical seminars / webinars for customers and OEMs in the respective region with the support of service team
- Organize participation in trade shows.
- Develop new account opportunities within assigned territory
- Qualifying new opportunities ensuring suitability.
- Utilize the Harmontronics sales process, procedures and sales tools, lead the proposal team to ensure timely delivery of a quality proposal which meets the customer’s needs.
- Review and be responsible for the solution proposals written by Applications Specialists to ensure the document is clear, accurately represents our offering and addresses the customer’s project success factors.
- Schedule technical review meetings with customers.
- Solicit customer feedback to ensure all requirements have been met and promote next steps to moving the project forward.
- Create and maintain Account Management plans with existing key accounts to grow Harmontronics value and further our partnership.
- Maintain regular contact with key accounts to ensure customer success utilizing Harmontronics solutions and promoting long term relationships.
- Attend escalation and red flags as directed by supervisor and customers
- Recognize problems, initiate action, assist in problem solving and evaluate results
- Assist with conflict resolution at early stages
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned

Knowledge, Education & Experience Required
- Successful and verifiable experience of strategic selling and negotiations skills in “solution and systems sales” of capital equipment or industrial automation in the target markets
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering degree preferred) and/or business management, sales, marketing, or related field
- Prior experience in capital equipment sales preferred; experience with wire processing industry is preferred.
- Good knowledge of wire harness technology.
- Experience with international project management skills would be a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and night hours
- Self-starter, capable of taking initiative to identify and resolve problems
- Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail
- Recommend and consistently administer policies and procedures to enhance department operations and support continuous improvement
