Global Compliance Specialist

**Summary**:
The Global Compliance Specialist role will support the development, maintenance, and improvement of Global Quality and Compliance programs as well as identify opportunities where we can significantly reduce costs and improve quality as well as collaborate with key suppliers on strategic initiatives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Foster positive working relationships with vendors and cross-functional partners with the goal of improving product quality, reduction of costs, and reducing returns
- Support the execution of test programs by identifying testing needs, tracking sample submissions, interfacing with cross-functional partners, and maintaining files
- Analyze damaged and undamaged return data and develop and implement corrective action steps to reduce and prevent product returns.
- Handle product-related concerns from customers, stores, and/or distribution centers on a day-to-day basis and implement corrective actions to address
- Assist in the maintenance of project management software and provide periodic project updates to management
- Develop and coordinate strategic initiatives with vendors focused on manufacturing and quality systems, efficiencies, and processes, as well as KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators)
- Support key collaboration initiatives that improve productivity and effectiveness
- Organize, plan, track, and manage to final execution of designated projects that will positively impact Quality and Compliance initiatives as well as drive cost savings
- Partner with appropriate cross-functional areas and international teams to meet project deadlines and ensure timely and flawless implementation of Quality and Compliance programs
- Assist in managing the workflow process for transitions by engaging our cross-functional partners to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and that the transitions are executed flawlessly
- Facilitate key meetings for assigned projects and keep the correct team members involved and updated
**Requirements**:
- A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent in a Science, Engineering, or related field
- One to three years of experience in Quality and/or Compliance
- Will have a working knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts
- Excellent organizational, project management, and planning skills
- Capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to use flexibility and creativity in problem-solving
- High-level Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Looking for assertive, goal-oriented, multi-tasker to manage Quality and Compliance programs
- Availabilty to travel once per quarter period
