Pricing Manager**
**About the job**
NielsenIQ is looking for a Pricing Manager to join our growing team and drive Revenue Growth Management (RGM) excellence.
In July 2021, NielsenIQ acquired Cornerstone Capabilities, an industry-leading SaaS-based provider offering a revenue management optimization solution to consumer packaged goods (CPG) clients.
We are now recruiting a leader to help us revolutionize predictive and prescriptive analytics in the industry. This person is responsible for expanding the Price & Promotion analytics business by promoting the first-of-its-kind, best-in-class, end-to-end revenue management solution that can fully integrate clients’ financial, promotional and sales data, and which scales globally.
The high energy NielsenIQ Analytics team is excited to have a new member join the group and build on the momentum we have established and deliver against very ambitious growth goals.
**Responsibilities**
Leads sales efforts for a Price & Promotion solutions within the Analytics practice and is responsible for the commercial plan development and execution. Key priorities include:
- Driving full sales cycle: expanding business with the existing/new client portfolio (selling new / renewing existing contract), proactively identifying sales opportunities based on client strategic priorities and networking in close alignment with CBPs
- Drive the penetration and adoption of the new Price & Promo software (Curve) in a subscription model
- Close collaboration with Delivery COE team to drive seamless delivery to clients.
**About you**
You are a person with:
- Strong sales leadership including: prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with C-level and other decision-makers,
- Strong understanding of price & promotions strategies and tactics in FMCG
- to-purchase to optimize product, assortment, price, place, pack, promotion and availability with shopping occasions for profitable revenue)
- Ability to build enduring relationships with C-level executives - truly passionate relationship developer
- Strong affiliation to Sales Personas & develops sales strategies to suit
- With Excellent problem solving skills, solution oriented and good analytical skill and very good client-facing and communication/presentation skills
- Financial understanding (eg. P&L, EBITDA) and how this relates to business success
- Excellent at consultative selling, able to speak at external forums, and with strong Collaboration and Networking skills
**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience in CPG Sales, Trade Marketing, Key Account, Revenue Growth Management, Category Management.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge in sales processes in CPG companies, customers, modern and traditional market.
- Significant experience in commercial strategy and Revenue Management capacities (pricing, promo, trade investment, assortment, profitability)
- Proven ability to present Revenue Growth Management (RGM) concepts
- Excellent business English, both verbal and written
