**Responsibilities**:

- Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs.
Identifies stakeholders in key organizations and build and manage relationships with each stakeholder.
- Directs the creation of multiple programs of work and manage their alignment to business goals.
- Leads the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross-functional macro level topics within/across programs and with Senior Management.
- Leads the identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established programs of work.
- Works with stakeholders to ensure program scope definition meet business objectives and partner with Program Sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business goals.
- Drives adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery and leverage across the program.
- Assists program team in negotiating for resources owned by other departments in order ensure the program is completed within stated time lines.
- Directs the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.
- Directs the identification of risks which impact program delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.
- Manages a team of employees and coach and evaluate performance and makes recommendations for pay increases, promotion etc.**Qualifications**:

- 15+ years of experience, including 8-10+ years' managerial experience
- Demonstrate a consistent track record having worked as a Program or Project Manager, Lead, PMO or department head, managing teams and large, strategic cross-functional projects
- Previous program/project management, consulting, technology and/or management
- CAPM, PMP, PgMP and/or MBA are a plus

- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree and managerial experience

**Job Purpose**:
As Special Projects Head would serves as “Program Manager”, providing Analysis, Diagnosis, Implementation, and Sustainability to the Control Projects related. These Control Projects would create the opportunity to strengthen and consolidate the compliance of horizontal risk across the franchise.

**Job Background/context**:
The Office of Governance & Control is a function within the “first line of defense,” reporting directly to the President of Grupo Financiero Banamex (GFB). It is responsible for strengthening the control environment across the entire franchise and to build a more effective Governance Structure and Operating Model.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Responsible of the analysis and diagnosis of the problem to be solved being a Key senior stakeholder that communicates in the correct way the insights to the senior Management
- Implement the corrective action plans, designing controls, key risk indicators, writing procedures, charters to be performed
- Ensure the adequate Org Structure If needed for the sustainability
- Manage Franchise critical control projects, coordination with all stakeholders to for their implementation
- Responsible for analyse problems, opportunities, and initiatives and identify applicable businesses and products, define a desired future state and document the plan.
- Accountability for end results including budgeting, program initiation, planning, execution and close

- The role involves close interaction with the OGC Head, OGC Functional Peers, Senior Management, Senior In Business Control Officers, and 1rst / 2nd / 3rd Lines of defense Heads.

**Job Specification**
**Knowledge/Experience**:

- Post-Graduate or Master Degree with at least 20+ years of experience in successfully managing strategic programs
- Financial services industry experience required
- Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach a senior-level staff to manage and develop high-performance teams
- Relevant compliance and control knowledge is required
