SGI Global LLC is seeking fluent a Spanish speaking **Criminal Investigations and Analysis Advisor** to support the Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) in Mexico City, Mexico, which requires professional and administrative support services to work with the U.S. Foreign Assistance Program to Mexico.

**Responsibilities**:

- The position is located in Mexico City, Mexico. Travel to other locations in Mexico, the United States and other countries may be required.
- Develops and coordinates criminal investigation and analysis projects that assist Mexican institutions mitigate and address high-impact crimes.
- Coordinates INL work with U.S. and GOM officials, inter-agency colleagues, international organizations, and foreign governments outside of Mexico.
- Maintains project documentation; supports grants and contracts officer.
- Tracks developments in Mexico's criminal justice system.
- Advises INL on project development and strategy, Mexican law, local policies, and procedures involving public safety, investigations, prosecutions, and criminal analysis for investigations involving high-impact cases.

Qualifications:

- Mexican Citizen.
- Spanish FSI level 4/4.
- English FSI level 2/2.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in international relations, law, criminal justice, law enforcement, public administration or related field;
- Experience participating in criminal trials as a prosecutor or witness offered by the prosecution;
- Strong analytical and communication skills and ability to make reasoned arguments and recommendations to supervisors and senior U.S. and Mexican government officials;
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently;
- Proven organizational skills and team work;
- Ability to prioritize tasks and accept feedback;
- Experience in drafting and authoring reports and delivering presentations;
- Ability to work effectively with senior U.S. and GOM officials;
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
- Ability to pass a U.S. Embassy RSO security background check.

**Desired but not required**:

- Experience conducting training or teaching in topics related to the accusatorial criminal justice system;
- Project management experience; and
- Experience working in a multicultural environment.
