Requisition ID: 30376- Job Location(s): Apodaca, MXTo continue our strong focus on quality and with direct report to our Head of System Solutions within the Commercial Compressors (CC), we are looking to hire an experienced and dedicated leader for Global Quality.

The overall goal for the** Head of Global Quality **will be to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction - both internally and externally - and to ensure business effectiveness through performance follow up, coaching, support and the implementation of quality mindset, quality management system and tools.

With your up-to-date knowledge about quality within a global industry business, you are leading the team consisting of two direct reports, responsible for key areas within the quality scope. The Quality team at each of the 2 Danfoss System Solutions factories report functionally to the role.

Together with the team and in close cooperation with the factory leadership and quality teams, you are responsible for building and executing on the global quality strategy. Further you and your team will have a strong cooperation with corporate and segment quality leaders.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Give guidance and in cooperation with factory leaders ensure that we are making safe and sustainable products, proactively meet the quality obligations towards customers and regulators globally, address risks, and achieve objectives through efficient processes.
- Cooperate with factory leaders to ensure the required skills and competencies of the factory Quality team and if required support development of relevant competences.
- Cooperate with Contract Manufacturers to ensure the required skills and competencies of the contract manufacturers to deliver high quality of Danfoss branded products.
- Develop and maintain quality governance models, tools and processes that enable both quality responsible and operational staff to operate efficient and make the right decisions.
- As a member of the System Solutions leadership team, you provide ideas and take on challenges across the business that serve the common goal to increase profitable growth.
- Taking on the overall responsibility and accountability for the total Quality performance of the business and to provide guidance and communicate a clear direction across the organization.

**Background & Skills**:

- Bachelor degree
- +10 years of experience across operations and quality with a proven track record as well as +5 years of leadership experience within Supply Chain, Operations or Quality,
- Good understanding of engineering and large industrial production with a global footprint and global sourcing, and specifically knowledge of Industry 4.0 Smart Manufacturing and ability to integrate the Quality requirements to this.
- Advanced analytical, planning and coordinating skills, focused on quality, details and root cause problem solving.
- Knowledge of ISO9001, IATF 16949 and experience in PFMEA, process audit, PPAP and Lean.

Furthermore, it is essential that you have:

- Experience from working in large global organizations and operating effectively in a matrix with several stakeholders.
- A solid experience with working and creating strong results across cultures and countries.
- A visionary and collaborative leadership style.
- The ability to involve, inspire and develop people.
- Analytical skills and the ability to promote fact-based actions.
- Full fluency in oral and written English. Speaking Spanish or Portuguese languages would be beneficial
- Travel to the factories, customers and suppliers and to other Danfoss sites is expected and pending on location could be 20-40% per year.
