**Responsibilities**
- Design and develop automotive vehicle solutions focused on seats and restraints systems for North America, Canada, and export markets according to engineering and federal requirements.
- Create and work design concept sheets, design validation plans (DVP), design failure modes and analysis (DFMEAs)
- Release and launch new product development designs from initial concept until Design Verification builds at the factory and final release to full production.
- Present projects updates in design reviews meetings to the Mexico and United States teams.
- Develop project plan timings to hit project milestones and deliverables.
- Work and coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure designs feasibility.
- Lead and participate on cross-functional meetings with seats and safety restraints suppliers.
- Provide technical support to plant engineering.

**Minimum Requirements**
- 3 years’ experience in Product Development.
- Proficient to communicate in English (conversational and written)
- Experience working with cross-functional teams: Program Management, Industrial Design, Ergo, Procurement, Purchasing, Procurement, Vehicle Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience working with NX11 or other solid modeling CAD software.
- Soft skills: Proficient communication, high sense of urgency, manage multiple projects at a time and prioritize activities, team collaboration.

**Desired Skills**
- Experience working on seating and restraints systems (Interiors experience)
- General knowledge of automotive vehicle development process.
- Knowledge experience with FMVSS and CMVSS Federal Regulations.
- Strong project management skills / MS Projects
