Job Summary
Job summary:
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _Manufacturing _Engineer _located in _Aguascalientes_._
- Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager, the Manufacturing Eng role involves_ _Plans, directs, and controls all manufacturing activities within the company. Develop operating activities so that approved products are manufactured on schedule, within quality standards and cost goals. Additional duties involve the development of manufacturing capacity, interacting with production and materials control, warehousing and site facilities, maintenance, industrial engineering, and other manufacturing hold up activities._
What a typical day looks like:
- _ Understand manufacturing and test equipment concepts, technologies and techniques_
- _ Designs manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters._
- _ Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods._
- _ Define equipment maintenance requirements, identify root-causes of equipment failures and develop hands-on maintenance skillsWork with other engineering stakeholders and customers on problem solving and continuous improvement to the design of equipment and products and may develop corrective and preventive action plans_
- _ May be involved in development and update of PFMEA for new products_
- _ May participate in control plan development_
- _ Write and update work instructions and other documents (e.g. specifications, procedures, )_
- _ Analyzes and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency._
- _ Confers with production group concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods._
- _ Coordinates with customers to determine product specifications and design changes and responds to customer request._
- _ Provides information for management decisions from a technical and technical cost perspective._
- _ Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes._
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- _ Experience not required._
- _ Bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering, Business Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus._
- _ Good verbal and written communication skills._
- _ Interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments._
